I spend alot of time reading. |
| Hiking~
I used to spend most of my time in the woods. Now that
I live here I don't have as much access to really nice
forests, but when I lived at home I spent alot of time
in the Allegheny. Not always hiking, but just finding
a nice place to be alone. Forests are very peaceful for
me. |
| Canoeing~
I love canoeing. The Allegheny river is my favourite. |
| Jewelry~
I make mostof my own jewelry. |
| Music~
I listen to a pretty wide variety but my favourite is
Spanish/Flamenco, Native American, and Celtic. It has
to be traditional, though. There is nothing I don't like
more than people giving them pop twists. Bob Marley, The
Doors, Dylan, Rolling Stones, The Cranberries, Gypsy Kings,
Gitano Family......................................... |
| Travel~
I defintely have a travel bug. A few places I haven't
been able to see yet, but hope that I will some day, are
Africa, South America, Mexico, and Egypt. |
| Native
American Studies and Anthroplogy~
At one time it was my plan to become an Anthropologist
and specialize in Native American Studies, but I met my
husband around this time and it would have meant being
away from him and going to school in Maine. I chose Canada.
I will always have a great love for Native American history
and culture. Even though I haven't made a career around
it, I am always reading about and studying everything
I can find about Native Americans- especially NorthEastern
Woodland tribes. |
